 Jiangyin XingCheng Special Steel Works Co., Ltd., (JXSS), was invested by Hong Kong CITIC Pacific Limited and is affiliated to CPS. It annually outputs 6 million tons of high quality special steel and is the largest domestic production base for high quality special bars and plates.
High-quality plates are mainly used in pipeline, steel structure, bridge, wind power generation, pressure vessel industries etc.. High-quality bars mainly include high spec bearing steel, high-grade gear steel, alloy spring steel, alloy tube steel, oil field steel, high-grade mooring chain steel, tyre cord steel, and free-cutting non-quenched & tempered steel as well. The company is the domestic largest production base of special steel for exportations and substitute for importations as well.
Adopting the most advanced technology and equipment, JXSS has not only built up a 4300 mm heavy plate production line and a 3500 Steckel mill line with annual output capacity of 3 million tons of plates (coiling strip), but also has 5 domestic most advanced high-quality bar production lines with annual output capacity of 3 million tons.
JXSS is located in the Economic District of Jiangyin City, which is on the south of the Yangtse River with the self-constructed special wharf of 100 thousand tons berthing capacity, faces to Xi-Cheng and Hu-Ning Expressway, lies closely against XinChang Railway, forming an unique transportation & logistics advantages.
